The ATF is moving away from including the tax stamp examiner's digital signature on approved ATF eForm applications, e.g. ATF eForm 1 and ATF eForm 4. They are now digitally signing the approved by or the disapproved box using their Adobe Acrobat digital signature. This is displayed as, "Authorized NFA Division official" and shown below. This means the days of getting a Carol Ripley autographed approved ATF eForm 1 or ATF eForm 4 is over.
