ATF Final Rule 2021R-05F – Definition of "Frame and Receiver" and Identification of Firearms

The ATF has an issued information on the ATF Final Rule 2021R-05F and will have virtual training on the rule.


On April 11, the Attorney General signed ATF Final Rule 2021R-05F, Definition of “Frame and Receiver” and Identification of Firearms. The Final Rule was published in the Federal Register on April 26, and becomes effective on August 24. 

ATF invites you to participate in a virtual training directed at FFLs to assist you in better understanding the Final Rule. Training will be conducted through WebEx on the following dates/times:
