ATF Recommends using the ATF 5320.20 Before Applying with the ATF eForm 4

On the new ATF eForm's site when applying for an ATF eForm 4, you will notice a new banner on the Transferor's page.  If you have moved your NFA firearm and never have used the ATF 5320.20 to update the ATF of the permanent address change, you will need to do that before you can use the ATF eForm 4 to transfer the firearm to a new legal entity. The ATF further states that without completing the ATF 5320.20 before applying can delay the approval of your tax stamp application.

"If you have moved to another state since receiving an approved ATF Form 1 or 4, please submit an ATF Form 5320.20 Application to Transport Interstate or Temporarily Export Certain NFA Firearms prior to submitting another application. This will allow NFA Division to timely process your application and ensure compliance with GCA interstate transfer restrictions."
