President Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act into law on July 4th, 2025. SEC. 70436. REDUCTION OF TRANSFER AND MANUFACTURING TAXES FOR CERTAIN DEVICES of the OBBB has an efffective date of 90 days after the end of this quarter. That puts the law going into effect on January 1, 2026, shown below. However, there are no details on when the ATF Forms will be revised and the timeline for January 1, 2026.
