Do you Need to Engrave the Control Number for a ATF Form 1 Tax Stamp Application?

After your ATF Form 1 or ATF eForm 1 is approved you will need to engrave the NFA Firearm with the applicants information that can be found in box 3b on your approved ATF Form 1 or ATF eForm 1 tax stamp.  But do you need to engrave the control number of your approved ATF Form 1 or ATF eForm 1 tax stamp?  No, you don't.  You will only need to engrave the information that is located in box 3b.  This will be the individuals name, gun trusts name, corporations name or other legal entities name, followed by the city and state from box 3b.
