FREE TAX STAMPS Have Arrived

We are ringing in a New Year.  This year is extra special.  Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that was signed into law on July 4th, 2025, tax stamps are now free for making and transferring most NFA Firearms.  Machine guns and destructive devices are not included.  Alongside the free tax stamps for most ATF Form 1 and ATF Form 4 firearms, the ATF's eForm 4 site now allows for non-FFL holders to use the ATF eForm 4.  That means it is now free to transfer individually owned NFA firearms into a gun trust or other entities for that matter, and individuals can file ATF eForm 4 applications right from the ATF's eForm site.  The ATF eForm fast approvals are now available to all applicants.
