Invalid Applicant Name Error - Single Shot Trust

As the New ATF eForm 4 becomes used more and more, we are hearing about different errors and their fixes.  There is an error on the firearms page of the ATF eForm 4 that users are experiencing.  It is the Invalid Applicant Name error when adding a firearm from a control number.  When you are adding the firearm by a control number, the ATF eForm's site will verify the informant that was entered on the transferor's page and the information from the tax stamp that is associated with the control number.

In relation to Single Shot Trusts or any trust for that matter, the information on the responsible persons page must match the approved tax stamp "to the t", so to speak.  You can see the below examples of the transferor page.  The top image is the incorrect trust name, SILENCERCO SAKER SK8675.  This trust name will produce the Invalid Applicant Name.  The correct trust name is shown on the bottom image, SILENCERCO SAKER SK8675 TRUST.  After entering in the correct trust name, you can then go back to the firearm screen to add the firearm by the control number.
