Can a P.O. Box be Used for your ATF Form 1, ATF Form 4 or ATF Form 5 Address?
When you are applying for an ATF Form 1, ATF Form 4 or ATF Form 5 tax stamp, you will need to provide the address where the NFA firearm will be located at. We were recently asked from a Redditor from the Reddit.com/r/NFA/ sub if you can use a P.O. Box for the address on your application. According to the ATF NFA Branch, you aren't able to use a P.O. Box for the address on your application. This means that you will need to provide the physical address that the NFA firearm will reside at. You may want to use a P.O. Box because you move addresses frequently. If that is the case you can use the ATF 5320.20 Application to Transport NFA Firearms to update the permanent address of your NFA firearm. The ATF 5320.20 form can be filled out in a manner of minutes and mailed, faxed or emailed into the ATF - shown below.
