Do You Need To Register or Record Your Gun Trust at the Local Court House?

Only a few states require that the settlor of the gun trust register their gun trust with the local court house.  However, there are no legal consequences or penalties if you choose not to register your gun trust with the local court house.  The states that use trust registrations are located below:

**Registration of a revocable trust is not required until the settlor's death: no registration of the trust is required if all of the trust property is distributed to the beneficiaries at the time of the settlor's death.
