Do you Need to Send the ATF the Cover Letter When Using an .EFT File?

No you don't.  When you are applying for a tax stamp using the ATF eForm 1 or ATF eForm 4 site, the ATF will send you a cover letter automatically after submitting the application.  If you uploaded an .EFT file when you applied for your ATF eForm 1 or ATF eForm 4 application, you won't need to mail the cover letter to the ATF.  In fact, you won't need to send any paperwork to the ATF when using .EFT files with your tax stamp applications.  But you will still need to send the CLEO copies of your paperwork to your named CLEO.
