United States Not Visible as Birth Country on ATF eForm 1

When you are adding a responsible person to your ATF eForm 1, ATF eForm 4, ATF eForm 5 applications, you will need to select the birth country.  We have seen issues where the United States of America is not listed in the birth country drop down.

This error occurs when no country of citizenship is selected.  That is first box in the Add Responsible Person page.  If the citizenship isn't selected, then you won't be able to select the United States of America as your birth county.  In order to fix this issue, you must select U.S. Citizen from the citizenship drop down.
