What Happens if Fingerprints Cards aren't Delivered to the ATF Within 10 Business Days?

When you are eFiling with the ATF eForm 1 application.  This is the eForm version of the ATF 5320.1 -Application to Make and Register a Firearm.  After you have paid and submitted your eForm 1 application to the ATF on their eForm's website you will be emailed a cover sheet with your control number and the CLEO copy of your ATF eForm 1 paperwork.  After you have you received the email from the ATF you will have 10 business days to submit your FD-258 fingerprint cards into the ATF.  But what happens if you don't mail your fingerprint cards in time or they don't arrive to the ATF within the 10 business day timeframe?  If your FD-258 fingerprint cards don't arrive to the ATF within the 10 business days then your application will be disapproved by the ATF.  This will require you to submit your application on the ATF eForm's site.  Your payment will be refunded to you within 1 month.  Usually the refunds are processed in less than a week.  You will also, need to send two more FD-258 fingerprint cards back to the ATF with your new cover sheet.  If you have applied with the ATF eForm 1 and you need FD-258 fingerprints, we can help you.  We keep a constant inventory of FD-258 fingerprint cards on hand that contain the correct ORI information stamped on the cards and ship the same day.  You can have your fingerprint cards in as little as 1 business day.
