What to Do If Your Manufacturer is Unknown on Your eForm 1 Application

If your manufacturer is an "Unknown Manufacturer" on your ATF eForm 1 application, when you click the verify manufacturer box, you will be prompted to further verify your unknown manufacturer.  A popup will open where your correct manufacturer might be displayed in the list.  If that is the case, you can click the correct manufacturer and click "Update Manufacturer".  If the manufacturer is not indicated in the list, then you will need click "Confirm Unknown Manufacturer".  When this has been selected, note that your application will go into the pending research phase and have a yellow error on the certify page.  This will delay your ATF eForm 1 tax stamp application, until the ATF can verify your application and move it to the submitted phase.  You may need to need supporting photos of the engravings on the firearm, etc.  The popup that you will see is included below.
