Why is the ATF 5320.23 "Choose File" Greyed Out for an Individual Applicant on the eForm 1 Application?

When applying as an individual, whether you are using the ATF Form 1, ATF eForm 1, ATF Form 4 or the ATF Form 5, you aren't required to complete the ATF 5320.23.  These questions will be answered on the forms itself or on the eForm 1 application.  This means that when you are applying for a tax stamp using the ATF's eForm website the ATF 5320.23 "Choose File" will be greyed out like shown below.  This is normal for an individual applicant and nothing to worry about.  The ATF 5320.23 "Choose File" is only available if you are applying with a gun trust, corporation, or other legal entity.
