Will the Federal Government Shutdown Slow Down the Approval of ATF Form 1, ATF eForm 1 and ATF Form 4 Paperwork?

Will the Federal Government Shutdown slow down the approval of silencers, SBR's and other NFA firearm applications?  During the Federal Government shutdown, non-essential personnel won't be working at the ATF.  Bank of America will be processing incoming tax stamp payments as they are received.  However, the ATF won't be processing any pending stamps during the Federal Government shutdown.  This means that ATF Form 1's, ATF eForm 1's and ATF Form 4's won't be processing.  Applicants that are still in the pending status before the Federal Government shutdown will still be pending during the shutdown.  This can further delay your tax stamp from being approved.
