When and Where do I submit fingerprint cards for ATF eForm 1 applications?

When utilizing the ATF's eForm 1 tax stamp application, all of your documents for your tax stamp application: passport photo, ATF 5320.23 (if applicable), gun trust/legal entity documents (if applicable) will be uploaded, except for the FD-258 fingerprint cards.  The FD-258 fingerprint cards for yourself and if applicable other responsible persons will need to physically send the completed FD-258 fingerprint cards to the ATF.  But, when and where do you submit your completed FD-258 fingerprint cards to?

When?:  You will need to send your completed FD-258 fingerprint cards to the ATF after you have submitted your ATF eForm 1 application to the ATF and have received a valid cover sheet via email from the ATF.  Learn more about what a valid cover sheet looks like here.  You will have 10 business days from when you receive the cover sheet to mail your completed FD-258 fingerprint cards to the ATF, if this isn't completed your application may be disapproved by the ATF.

Where?:  You will need to send your completed FD-258 fingerprint cards to the ATF address that is indicated on the cover sheet itself.  The mailing address for the ATF on the cover sheet may change, so we have included an example below of where the mailing address is on the cover sheet (directly below the top barcode) and an example address from a valid cover sheet.
